Dead Fathers dinner. One in a series of dinners designed to bring conversant and new meaning to imbedded loss.
I used my fathers favorite foods as a tool of both remembering and as a vehicle to discuss the unique expressions of loss we all move with. By carbonizing these foods: hotdogs, brussels sprouts, waffles, hamburgers Etc. I was able to create marking tools which were then used over the course of an evening to create a physical/pictorial representations of each participants histories.

A sound sculpture built off the modified quadratic diffusion principals – moveable and collapsable components allow a room’s sound response to be modified to meet the needs of the designer and or engineer.
Built completely with bookmatched walnut and riff sawn ash over steel subframes.

Custom reception desk – alternating ash and walnut verticals, tied with alternating steel and oak dowels. Solid wood construction with figured and bookmatched trim.
